About Me
My name is Sam, and I’ve been photographing seriously since 2011. I’m a nurse by trade, but photography has been a long-standing passion and a craft I’ve put years of study, practice, and intention into. I’ve been hired for portrait, event, editorial, and wedding work, and my images have been purchased by institutions like the University of Illinois, Google, city guidebooks, and local businesses.
A friend once told me, “Sam is a memory maker,” and I’ve carried that with me ever since.
We thought cell phones in everyone’s hands would replace photographers — but instead we’ve ended up with thousands of photos that stay on our devices, rarely seen and not built to last. It’s time to bring back the photo album.

How many photos will I get?
You’ll receive every usable photo, plus a curated set of edited favorites.
Do you shoot weddings and engagements?
Yes.
Do you photograph birthdays and anniversaries?

Do you cover work or corporate events?

How do I pay?
No deposit. Venmo, Zelle, or cash—paid after I finish shooting but before I leave the event.
What 35mm film do you use?
Color or black & white. Usually Kodak Ultramax for general shooting, Kodak Portra 400 for portraits, and Ilford Delta 3200 for B&W.
What instant film do you use?
Color or black & white, depending on your preference.
What happens with bad weather, emergencies, or cancellations?
We can reschedule or cancel—no problem.
Refunds?
No refunds, but if you’re not happy with what you received, I’ll come back and take more photos for you.
